Collection: Geneva School Rising First Grade

Geneva School recommends students read at least 12 books (which is approximately one book per week). The following selections are all short readers which students can read in one sitting.

Note: 12 books are recommended. However, ideally students will read 10-15 minutes daily. This will help students maintain skill and interest in reading.

Summer Reading Journal: For each book include a page with the title, author, and an illustration. You may also choose to write one or two sentences describing your favorite part or character.
