Augustine Classical Academy Summer Reading
ACA'S GRAMMAR SCHOOL SUMMER READING CHALLENGE:
Each student who reads 900 minutes (15 hours, or about 1.5 hours a week for all of summer) gets a medal and donut at our start-of-school ceremony in August. The first 450 of these minutes need to come from books found on Storyglory’s website under the corresponding grade/age category for the student.
Incoming Kindergarteners and incoming 1st graders can have 600 minutes of the 900 read aloud to them. Books could be borrowed or purchased from other websites but also need to be found on the Storyglory website.
After students read 450 minutes from books found on Storyglory’s website, students can read any book of choice for the remaining 450 minutes!
The student who reads the most minutes in Grammar School and in Upper School minutes will earn an extra prize!
